Help us grow Barrington Indivisible
Members often ask how they can help win competitive races in other states. Here are four trusted organizations worth checking out (Updated 5/4/26).
Oath (OATH) is a Democratic-aligned donor-advising platform backed by progressive venture fund Higher Ground Labs that uses impact scores to direct your political dollars to the races where they will matter most. Oath protects donor privacy and never shares your contact information.
State + Local Election Alliance (state-elections.org) backs candidates for the city and county offices that decide how elections are actually run in swing states. SLEA is registered as an express advocacy committee and is not legally required to disclose its donors.
Run for Something (runforsomething.net ) recruits and supports young progressive candidates for state and local office. Founded in 2017 by former Clinton campaign staffer Amanda Litman, RFS is supported by individual grassroots donors and progressive funders, including Hillary Clinton's Onward Together.
Swing Left (swingleft.org) connects volunteers to phone banking, letter-writing, and canvassing in the most competitive districts in the country. A Democratic hybrid PAC, Swing Left, discloses its donors through FEC filings and has been backed by individual donors, including Michael Bloomberg, George Soros, and Onward Together.
